Don’t need to hire a wedding photographer, but want to make sure you look your best when you’re captured on film? A lot of wedding guests worry - a lot - about what to wear to a wedding. There are a lot of rules involved, you do want to look your best for when you’re caught on film giggling on the dance floor with the bride, and you want to be comfortable. So what’s the answer? First, do away with all the rules. Stick to “don’t wear white,” and you should be fine.

If you happen to wear a dress one tone lighter than the wedding colours; or you ‘accidentally’ wear red (who came up with that one?), it’s most likely not going to ruin the day. Secondly, maxi dresses are always great choices for weddings. They’re light and comfortable, and you can choose a casual look for outdoor day weddings, or find even very formal maxis that will be appropriate for a church or evening wedding.
